Carlos Pigem, new ambassador for INFINITUM

February 2022, Tarragona: Infinitum has agreed a new partnership with professional golfer Carlos Pigem that will see the DP World Tour player become an ambassador for the resort.

Not only did he grow up just an hour inland from Infinitum, Pigem also secured his DP World Tour playing privileges the last time the Qualifying School Final was held at the venue in 2019 – the third time it had done so in as many years.

As well as benefiting from the world-class facilities both on-course and off when at home preparing for tournaments, Pigem will work with the Infinitum team to grow the game in the region and showcase the resort on a global stage as he tees it up on Tour.   

Speaking about the partnership with Infinitum, Carlos Pigem said: “Having a base like Infinitum to not only practice at, but also to relax and unwind from life on Tour, is something I really value. My family already call Infinitum a home-from-home and having somewhere they also love to come to, where we all feel so welcome, can only help take my game to the next level.  

“The golf courses and practice facilities are first-class, just like what we experience on Tour, which obviously helps with my on-course preparations. I’m also excited to be working with the whole team as they look to the future, as I know they have exciting plans to build on everything the resort already has to offer. I can’t wait to get started!” 

Carlos Pigem joins Natasha Fear as the latest elite Spanish player to have the Costa Dorada resort as their base, affirming Infinitum as a hub for some of the country’s best players to hone their talents. 

Infinitum, home to three outstanding golf courses and award-winning facilities will provide tour-standard conditions all year round for both Pigem and Fear as they compete against the world’s best golfers on their respective Tours.
