The BREEAM international assessment certification shows that the resort and its exclusive homes are sustainable and energy efficient. INFINITUM wears this certification as a badge of honour to show its
commitment to caring for and respecting its exclusive natural surroundings.
The BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) assessment programme has been certifying works projects and buildings since 1990 across 86 countries, by assessing their environmental, social and economy sustainability, using standards developed by the BRE (Building Research Establishment). The solidity of the BREEAM certification provides INFINITUM with
a guarantee of its sustainable settings where care for the environmental and natural resources promotes well-being among its residents.
Among the specific actions that meet the sustainability objectives, we want to draw attention to
89.55%* energy savings and a 92.31% reduction in total emissions** thanks to
an efficient design of the cladding on the buildings to limit the need for energy, and consumption of renewable electricity.. What's more, the choice of
sustainable construction materials and proper waste management allow us to truly reduce our impact on the environment. While nature grows and spreads out around the homes thanks to irrigation for natural plants, the interiors of INFINITUM homes have been specifically designed to provide
the utmost comfort in terms of temperature and light levels, respecting environmental quality standards. By using
efficient equipment, we can reduce our water consumption and promote reuse, which means we can optimise how we use this essential resource.
Mobility around the resort is another one of our priorities: there are limits on road traffic and we promote more sustainable modes of transport by installing
charging stations for electric vehicles.
